SuperiorASP.NET hosting offers FTP support, allowing you to easily upload or download your website files. Please follow the guide below to obtain your hosting FTP host, username, and password.
1. Log in to your hosting control panel and open WEBSITES. You’ll see the FTP Address and FTP Login ID under Server Overview. By default, the FTP password is the same as your control panel login password.
2. You can also go to FTP in the navigation menu to check the FTP information.
By default, your FTP username matches your control panel username and has access to all website files in your hosting account. If you need to share an FTP user with your webmaster or someone else but want to restrict their access to only part of your files, you can create an additional FTP user for them.
To create an additional FTP user, please open FTP in the navigation menu, enter the FTP username and password you want to use, select the FTP home path, and then click the Create button to add the FTP user. The FTP HOME PATH limits the FTP user’s access to that directory only (meaning the FTP user will not be able to access files outside of that directory). In the image below, the FTP user "ftpuserdemo" is limited to accessing files under the wwwroot folder.
